Revenue
......................................................................................................................................................... Most of Tri-CAP’s revenue comes from program specific federal grants. The remainder consists of state and private grants, program income, and contributions.
Fixed Assets
.........................................................................................................................................................
- Through a combination of these and other funding sources, Tri-CAP reached a milestone in 2003, when we became property owners for the first time – building the Stan Kaszanek Transitional House for 11 individuals transitioning from homelessness to stable housing, supported by Tri-CAP case management and other services.
- In 2008, Tri-CAP expanded its property ownership with the purchase and renovation of a Victorian-era house. Already licensed as a rooming house, it is permanent Single Room Occupancy (SRO) housing for 14 formerly or chronically homeless individuals, who also have access to case management and other Tri-CAP services.
Sustainability and Growth
.........................................................................................................................................................
- These ventures, a reflection of Tri-CAP’s mission to work together with all the stakeholders in the community to eliminate poverty, indicate our ability to efficiently manage and grow our finances.
- It shows that we execute our mission in a fiscally responsible way.
- To further strengthen our financial health, Tri-CAP is creating a new Development Plan.
- Our campaign goal this year is to raise $70,000 in unrestricted funds.
- On October 21, 2010, we will be hosting a “Celebrating Community” fundraising event, which will showcase our accomplishments as a community-builder and tell the stories of transformed lives.
