Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS (HOPWA)

The Housing Opportunities for People with HIV/AIDS (HOPWA) program provides housing search, benefits assistance, health care access, job search, coordination, and case management to low-income residents who are HIV positive. Individuals living with HIV/AIDS suffering from mental health and/or substance addiction also receive services from Tri-CAP and its collaborating agencies through a grant from the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA). Within this broader population, the program is designed to serve people who are currently not accessing potentially helpful mental health services for a variety of reasons.
