Tri-CAP hosts community events to introduce local residents to the Malden River Tri-CAP’s events include educational workshops, fun activities, and clean ups. We have found that, when people have positive, meaningful experiences along the river, they are more likely to care about it and take part in efforts to reduce pollution and advocate for improvements.
Our big annual event, cosponsored with the Preotle Lane & Associates, is the Malden River Festival at the Park at River’s Edge. An estimated 1,000 people attended the first three River Festivals. Check out pictures from the 3rd Annual River Festival.

- Malden River Design Forum with the Boston Architectural Center
- Malden Documentary Screening at the Tufts Boathouse
