Salvation Army calls on CIO partners to find Chief Information Officer

April 15, 2022 – Qualified IT managers are among the hardest to find. CIO Partners was recently selected by the US Eastern Territory Salvation Army to lead the organization’s search for a new Chief Information Officer (CIO), located in West Nyack, NY. The CIO is responsible for defining and implementing information and technology strategy and capabilities across the Eastern region. This includes data analytics and business intelligence, development and support, infrastructure, security and technical services. The IOC reports to the Chief Secretary and is responsible for oversight and support. and direction to territorial IT and business leaders on strategy, standards, features, and opportunities for shared services and economies of scale.

Additionally, the CIO is a key contributor to the strategy and territory planning process and will be responsible for both IT operations and technology and digital innovation. It is essential that the CIO builds strong and productive relationships with all business unit leaders, acting as a true partner and making information and technology a business enabler. Candidates should be familiar with developing an IT vision, strategy, and roadmap, and leading IT teams and business partners in effective execution. They must be able to communicate a clear strategic vision for IT that supports business goals.

Chapel Hill Solutions recently helped recruit Mark Lauteren as the new Chief Information Officer at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL. Previously, Mr. Lauteren served as IT Director at El Centro Regional Medical Center, where he led all aspects of information services and telecommunications to help the organization achieve its mission. Prior to that, he was CIO for Astria Health, where he was responsible for the direction and management of information services, clinical engineering, IT/cybersecurity, project management office and telecommunications.

McDermott + Bull, a research firm based in Irvine, Calif., recently appointed Drew Manning as Chief Information Officer of KeyPoint Credit Union. The mission was led by President Brandon Biegenzahn, Vice President Michelle Davis and executive recruiter Courtney Dorrel. “Drew is passionate about creating alignment between business units and the technology department,” said Brad Canfield, president and CEO of KeyPoint. “With our goal of creating a leading digital experience, his knowledge and experience will help KeyPoint grow and better serve its members.”

Ms. Rafferty brings a proven track record of working for various fast-paced global consumer goods organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief Information Officer at Pinnacle Foods.
