Delaware Opportunities is a community action agency serving all of Delaware County. Delaware Opportunities Executive Director Shelly Bartow said their mission is to help those in need of extra support.

“There was really a gap in reaching some populations in the community who really only needed this extra support,” Bartow said. “By connecting with Jen, we are able to connect people living with addictions or recovering with services like rental assistance, so it really was a natural fit.

Cutting said this grant will allow Supplies For Life to continue providing harm reduction supplies to those who need them most.

“This will more than likely go to the harm reduction supplies, the fentanyl test strips are very expensive and hopefully this will keep us with them for at least six to eight months,” Cutting said.
